I always wondered what it meant when Sarah Kennedy's listeners wrote in and said "SW's to you" at the end of the letter.

Don't look at me like that ... I set the radio alarm to go on at 7.00 to wake me gradually, then I get to hear Terry at 7.30 :>> SK is a bit too twee for me.

Anyway, apparently it's because Steve Wright's listeners always say "Love the show, Steve" when they write in.

So SW's mean that ... 'love the show'.

Look, it bugged me for ages ok!? Maybe there are other folk with a brain like mine :P

Exactly :yes: the scary bit is sometimes there's the odd funny bit and I catch myself *shudder* ... laughing!

My radio is permanently tuned ot Radio2. My kids sing the theme tune when they hear the intro. I can't understand what SW refers to though. Where do they get SW from in 'love the show'?

Hmm - this is a bit of a mind twister! Does that mean writers of letters to Steve Write end with SK's to you?

And - *shudders* - I could not face waking up to Radio 1 - it is just too violent an awakening!

Used to listen to R2, and always thought that SWs meant Sweet Wishes or something.

Miss Tel Wogan, but listen to the Today show on R4 at that time now. :no:
