get a headache from eating chocolate? I googled it and it seems quite common. 
I used to get palpitations when I ate it, and panic attacks.
In saying that ... I did just eat a whole packet of Bahlsen biscuits

My mum gets terrible headaches after eating chocolate so she's sworn off it.
At least that's what she told me, but there are mysteriously copious amounts of the stuff in the fridge and I'm not the one eating it!

Sugar overload gives me head aches!!
but too much sugar and caffeine also gives me joint ache.

Pro Oooh didn't know about the caffeine thing. I used to do de-caff but it's too much hassle getting nice de-caff earl grey (and too dear)

It appears, with me, to be a particular combination of the two! I can do caffeine, provided I don't do too much sugar, and my joints are fine. It's when I'm over-doing both it seems to be a problem.
A friend of mine, who doesn't have a sweet tooth at all, did have to go off caffeine completely when he realised it was affecting his joints really badly, though.

It depends on the chocolate. I can eat Cadburys no bother, but Thorntons are banned. I nearly slit my wrists when I made *that* connection, I can tell you! For some reason, European chocolate gives me headaches too.
