I'm about to start a book ...

Half A Yellow Sun

by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

It's a birthday present. I tend not to get books that tax me too much cos I get bored easily. Awkward names and such. But it's set in Nigeria and my aunt had read it then ordered the same book for me. She lived in Nigeria for ages with her Nigerian husband, till he got ill, came over here and died (the virus that travels up the spine and paralyses you)

The other book she got me was set in Edinburgh, just finished it. Was ok. Ian Rankin. I can see it as a TV series or a one-off.

I'll give this book a go. Hope it isn't tricky to relate to. The books she's given me before looked mildly naff till I got into them. I should trust her choices a bit more :))

Nighty night
