Well ![]()
It's been a great week ... or rather, 11 days. Lots of fun stuff that probably happens all the time but I normally wouldn't notice. Spent the week feeling slightly iffy and looking after the wee yin who was off school. But still - happiness! The 3 of us watched Wall E *passes sick buckets round to readers* - yes, it was that cute ![]()
He stayed longer than he'd originally intended *joy* and this past weekend was ace ![]()
Day of rest on Saturday but wandered into town on Sunday. The German Market was on one of the greens ... gorgeous. Baubles, ornaments, German food, hats, lots of shiny
Had lunch in Wetherspoons (yum) wandered further into town ... the market is full of home-made-type stuff on Sundays ... beautifully, there was a sax/guitar combo playing a Christmas theme to our festive stroll. Later, a Drum Band were battering the crap out of central Cambs' ears ... gawd it was like a family-friendly rave
Stood in Game waiting to buy something Mini influenced Andy with
and even that was hysterical. The woman in front of us bought over a grand's worth of wii stuff
and a bloke, who looked a lot like a retarded Omid Djalili, amused us and made the queue entertaining. Yes, we've got it bad. ![]()
Pulsating hysterics in the bus on the way home ... when it dawned on me what I'd said to the Hare Krishna dude (read ajnspencer's blog if you don't know) Oh well, it was worth the embarrassment for the amount of laughter.
Got home to settle down for the night, flick the Jack Dee concert on, open lappie, check email, read ... Paddy's blog
flick the Jack Dee concert off so we can pay attention to the continued theme for the day ... side-splitting humour
I shouldn't laugh, but I will.

Aaaaaanyway. He got on the train at 5.15 today. Yes, I shed some tears on the way outta the station. But yes, I'm ok. It won't be as long till I see him again.
Photos will be forthcoming, when he can get time to edit them all (700 odd!)

very impressed. He got loads of pix and I bought 4 wee baubles for the tree. I wish I'd had the nerve to go in the cafe too, but it looked rammed to the gunnels since there's a temporary ice rink opened right next to it.

Hurrah, a fun time was had by all. It makes me really happy to hear about you two being happy.

Oh and German market? Didn't know they existed outside of Germany, but they certainly are great.
