It would have been handy when Mini was little. I think that stuck in my mind all those years ago and that's why I bought it

I've always thought it was a Scottish word. It's not something I've ever heard in an English accent. Could be wrong

It really is! I only go in when I'm skint. It helps me to be more objective (I have a serious problem, don't I?)

Ooh, I have one like that, but the one I have is total crap. I use it all the time though. The kids love their apples cut with it, and TBH so do I
I keep going to buy the one from Pampered Chef but the price holds me back. What a rip off THEY are!-

Pampered Chef stuff is ridiculously expensive. They did a P. Chef day at church once. Wish I hadn't wasted money on THAT.

I got invited to a party and cookery demonstration last year. The wifey made the cakes from packets! I was gobsmacked. I did buy some bamboo stirring spoons, though, and they are brilliant. Way better than normal wooden ones. Still too dear though.

I've seen that in the catalogue, it looks like it would be useful, glad I didn't buy one now.
