Am annoyed.
Lies/half truths annoy me.
This house is soooo calm though. Am enjoying it, apart from that stupid annoyance.
Friend left envelope with dosh in for me. Too much, I only need bus ticket. Will return it.
I've done nothing to offend a particular person. Wish they'd get right off my case and leave me alone. I wonder if they ever question themselves? Gooooo awaaaaaaay.
Please, no-one else get involved. It's not yer business, I just had to get that off my chest.

The video thing went ok. Nervous boy. Nervous mum, watching TV screen in other room.
A week ago I spent the day with my friend, she's also called P but not the Starbucky one. This one owns a lovely collie that I've dog-sat for before. I'm doing that again tomorrow, Tuesday and Thursday. Afternoons, as I'm guff at mornings. This time there'll be a puppy to look after. She kept one from the last litter. About 5 months old now. Very bouncy and playful. I'm looking forward to it. Last Saturday we did the throwing thing ...
I throw a stick, they race each other, the mum wins, they both hurtle back to me holding the stick in their mouths looking a lot like chariot horses except they're dogs and I have to wrestle with both of them to get it back. It sounds tedious, but is very funny ... just for the serious collie faces of concentration
Eyes like heat-seeking missiles
Might take the lappie, might not. x

Have any of you been watching LionMan on Sky 1 ?
I hated all that crocodile/snake stuff that Steve Irwin used to do. This programme shows a lion & tiger sanctuary and how they deal with the animals day to day. I think they have about 22 big cats on the site. It's excellent, well worth watching if you happen to catch it

I remembered seeing a dress that I really liked (!) in the Grand Arcade. Didn't stop or go over to look, just thought 'ooh nice'. It's not normal for me as dresses aren't my thing ... unless they're like this one.
A magazine dropped through the door, with the usual junk mail, and had a list of shops for Grand Arcade. After googling G-Star Raw, Gant, Quiksilver, TM Lewin and a few others, I found All Saints. That's the dress section.
I bloody LOVE them.
But

I didn't get to Pilates as the lad was in pain with his back, so had a bath as soon as he got up, then had the day off school.
I went into town today myself for a treat as I had a little bit extra dosh. Lunch in Starbucks, via Boots cos I forgot to put hand cream on and my hands were like sandpaper. Guess I must be a bit dehydrated
Sat there for a while with my humous & roast veg wrap, blueberry cheesecake and grande latte. I decided it would be too cheeky to have skinny latte today

Ok. Had a mad couple of days.
The assault against Mini that happened the other week ... police want to go ahead with charges. The boys are still threatening. He's struggling with it.
The PCSO assigned to him has been frickin amazing. He's only a young lad (19, left school last year) so he bonded with Mini really well. Brought round a slimline personal alarm for him today. It's very loud. The police woman I spoke to on the phone was fantastic, very down to earth and considerate of the whole situation.
On Friday morning a car will collect us to go to a nearby village station for a video statement.
Apart from that, all's well.

Saw Clerks II yesterday - Paddy, that's bizarro and funny
Lazy day today. Wandered around for a while *clickclickclickclick* down by the river and such. Many had the same idea. Lovely lunch of baked camembert, salad, bread & apricot relish in a cute riverside pub. Saw a rat by one of the uni grounds (I've not seen a rat here before)

It is the adrenaline, and the being-in-a-crowd.
Just pull the bike over, sit on the bench for a wee cry. You know you want to.
No elements to struggle with today. No wind, no rain, bike brought back to me last night. Sun shining.
Kept cycling, forced myself up the hill ... even the bit that screams it's too steep, get off for a bit.
It's nearly the top, it's flat inna minute, it's still sunny, keep going.
I was 20 minutes early in the pool. Went into the wee pool to wait. OMG it's a huuuuge bath. So warm and yummy. The big pool wasn't.
Favourite bit - using the weights, as it's astounding how heavy foam weights become under water!
I shall return.

Weather was sweet.
Caution.
Went to Pilates this morning ... phew ... needed that. At the moment it doesn't make my back any better or any worse, but some of the stretches make me feel pain-free while I'm doing them so that's gotta be good. Once I go there regularly it'll help more.
P and I drove into town to park. "Is that my phone?"
Oh-oh! Mini has been head-butted in the face and wants to come home ![]()
Further investigation revealed that he'd been punched, knee'd and head-butted in the face. Marks on his neck and lumps on his head too. ![]()
An older lad at school had attacked him because of an ongoing problem between him and one of Mini's friends. Mini decided to ignore it and take it in his stride but the boy came back with another lad who screamed in his face and started punching.
"Mrs M_______, I want to go home please"
P turned the car round. We sighed in stereo (we didn't know how bad it was at this point).
The long and short of it is (weird phrase) that my ex is furious. He chatted with some teachers then phoned the police.
They've been & gone. Mini doesn't want the boys charged. He doesn't want them expelled. He'd get more grief if either of those happened ![]()
He wants to move schools.
The police woman said she'd get some plods to go speak to the boys and their parents, and the school. I dunno what will come of this.
I moved schools when I got battered by 2 girls at school. I was on the waiting list to get into the Grammar anyway *shrug* ... it does feel a bit iffy moving 'the victim' though. I guess sometimes it's the easiest and safest way to deal with it.
P.S. The doctor gave him a good check-over and it's soft tissue injuries. No concussion. He had felt a bit wobbly but is just achy now. Day off school tomorrow, till I find out how the school have dealt with this. These kids are known to carry weapons in organised fights.

We had a lovely week, wandering, wondering, basing every venture on how my frickin back was feeling.
Visited a trio of bloggers on Saturday and Sunday, which was very relaxing and just wonderful. Best hosts ever and a right good laugh.
I got my cat-fix too. Was missing cats. Still am now. Will I? Won't I? *arg* Job first.
Anyroads, had lovely time and I'm slipping back into normal routine now. Mini will be back with me tomorrow. Gives me time to tidy up and get back into my normal sleep pattern - staying in bed till 11.30
Ah shurrup, I can do early when I have to.

Woke feeling v happy. All worries and nasties cast aside (see music blog for details)
I'm lovin that cheapo speaker set I got for the MP3 player. The reason it was only 97p is that it doesn't have a wire connection, you have to use batteries *shrug* the wired one costs a tenner.
The school phoned at lunchtime to let me know the boy was in loads of pain again with his back *eep*.
Phoned ex. No answer. Damn. He said the other day about his phone being lost. Took a deep breath and phoned his girlfriend. Well, fiancée. She didn't know he'd lost his phone. But I guess she'll soon find out that he tells lies ... and gets caught *cough*
Aaaanyway. He phoned then collected the wee yin after his work meeting. Took the boy to the doctors (I almost wrote Vets

He's sprained a muscle in his back (which I knew) so has Ibuprofen 3 times per day now. Quite a cool doc, haven't seen him before. He was ace chatting with Mini, really put him at ease.
Pilates tomorrow morning, then town with P, then a mad dash home to tidy up the house me before Andy arrives at teatime - woohoo!
We shall be visiting some other bloggers of this parish on Saturday, all plans going well. Very looking forward to that too.

When will there be a break-through in sorting the symptoms of PMT?
The last two months have been ridiculous. The day before is always the worst.
Some folk don't get it, d'you think that's why it's not prioritised?
It's exacerbated, for me, when there are a load of things biting.
Some months I don't get any symptoms, well a bit less patience and some bloating but nothing traumatic. (December was fine as Andy was here)
