Very patchy sleep last night. The pain killers hadn't built up enough in my system to block it, and the relaxant just didn't.

In spite of that, I feel massively better (mentally) today and a little bit better (physically). I think that's more to do with the 'hormones dying down a bit'

I've often wondered if a hysterectomy would help. But going through 'the change' brings its own emotional dramas

At the moment, I feel like I've had a monsterectomy. I'm gonna go with the "yay! freedon" rather than the guilt

Had to get a new kettle as The Biggest Kettle in Blogland™ is leaking, and water & electricity are a bit worrying.

Went to Starbucks and sat outside for a couple. Beautiful day, cool breeze where we sat.

That was as much as I could manage today but hopefully I'll be back to normal soon.

M'off ... it's soap time xxx

  It'll be slow, but I'll get there. Maybe my doc will realise that I really DO need the stronger anti-inflammatories after all that's twice in 5 weeks I've spasmed. I think they think I'm making it up. I was fine for over a year before they took me off Volterol

Hope you get better. I'd like to say, I know how you might be feeling - I had an "Abs and Back Workout" at the gym this evening, and my neck and lower back ache. Fortunately I have a glass of the best painkiller - alcohol.

  I will get better, it just takes quite a few days of 'relaxants' for the muscles to unravel
  
  If I sit for too long my leg gives way with the pain when I stand up. I just have to wait for a bit then it's bearable again. When sleeping it's worse, cos yer in bed for 8ish hours. It doesn't like that AT ALL. Turning over is fucking agony. Mini's getting fed-up having to go to the shops instead of me, and me not being able to cook or do dishes!
  
  I hope your neck & back recover quickly. I've been trying to do a few pilates moves that help. Can only do the thing with the pilates ball between my back & the wall.
  
  If the alcohol helps you sleep (relaxed) it'll probably do the trick xx

    The ache may have been down to the fact that those muscles probably hadn't been exercised for a long time!

  Andy had got me a shaped pillow that vibrates ages ago, I bust the adaptor, but got batteries today and it's helping loads xx

Oh god yeah.. Water n electricals sooo do not mix! I got a massive pisser of my freezer once.. It had defrosted itself coz it was knackered.. I went to unplug it with wet hands! God did that tingle!!

  Oooh I unplugged my mum's dodgy kettle once with wet hands. The plastic stuff had chipped off the the power supply and my hand touched the metal bit ... I flew back across the room
  
  Fortunately my pal (RIP) had a flavoured cigarette all ready made, to calm me down.
  
  I got some batteries and stuck 'em in my vibrating ... back pillow that's helping loads. Must get a new adaptor.

    I also got a mega shock from a CB radio power pack once..The wire kept coming out the back..So I picked it up to shove it back in..As I did so it had me!I was shaking the much that I could'nt let go of it..Thank god the main fuse blew! I was ok after 5 minutes *twitches*..Although I like to think that I fried a few cell's as it would explain a lot xxx

        Well..I did think you smoked a spliff back then by looking at a few of ya photo's..Bit of a hippy back then was'nt ya
        
        And as for splattered heads..I don't think I notice as mine is pretty much the same..If not worse..I never did manage to quit completly..And still admit to the odd one! It's all those VW's festival I attend in my LoveBug xx

        I might post in a private one some time, due to legal issues. It was rather excessive. Can't do it now, stopped when I was 22ish. Mega panic attacks every time I had even one draw. Probably never again, tried to light one some years back and it floored me for about 3 hours! Last dubious behaviour was *cough* er ... bumped into Charlie about 15 years ago

        It DID seem normal back then. Everyone I knew was shovelling stuff into their noses and gobs, sometimes jacking too. So damn glad it's not happening now. In fact, me & P were chatting about this earlier. Even guzzling all kinds of manky and cruddy drinks like like Pernod and stuff like that (bleugh) x

        Aye..It was the done thing..But now a days I dont know anyone in my social circle *cough ,3 good friends* who does anything over the odd toke..We would'nt have the stamina anymore

  I don't know where he got it ... I think it was 2 Christmases ago, possibly Amazon. It has two speeds and a heat setting. It's sooooo good for yer lower back. Really is. I used it loads till the adaptor jiggered and I've only just got round to getting enough AA batteries to check if it was the adaptor or the pillow that was gubbed.
  
  Oops, just remembered I stuck the rechargeable batteries on to charge .....
